Third Spring Break With the Brandon Janis's

So the week after our Bingham cousins came, our Janis cousins came, marking a third week in a row of fun, fun, fun! (Although, the boys had seminary, school and work and Daenon and Emily did their math all week, while Dover studied for the ACT.)

We did get down to Kemah and got to sail on a fine windy day. Here is Dover.

Daenon tried his hand at steering the ship and did a great job!
We also enjoyed having them with us to celebrate Passover! Here are Dover and Taylor with yarlmulkes (skull caps) on.
Aunt Mindy and Emily.

Daenon and Spencer sharing a moment.

The table before we gathered around.

I have collected little frogs for decorating our Passover table and wanted to take their portraits. The cute brown one, cousin Brian Bingham saw and bought for me in Turkey last year on a school tour! How thoughtfully sweet!

We went to Texas A&M for a Women's soccer game and watched Aubriana play with the BYU women's soccer team. BYU won the game and that made it all the sweeter!

Second Spring Break with the Binghams

After our fun Spring Break, it was time for some more fun! The schools in Beaumont had their Spring Break the week after Katy. So Uncle Jeff and Aunt Shelby and family (except Brian who was on a college tour with his school) came on over. Shelby and I went to the Houston Temple one day. Another day we had a fun picnic at the park.

On another day, Shelby and I took all the kids 13 and under to Kemah Boardwalk and they got all-day passes. I think they got 30+ rides each! The boardwalk is small with only about 8-10 rides they liked, so they ran from ride to ride and only stopped for a quick lunch break.

This is Jared's first time on the Pharoh's Fury, can you tell? He ended up riding on it many times over as well as the rollercoaster and a high drop ride. He has a steel stomach! (So does Rachel!)

Topping the day off with Dipin' Dots. It was a wonderful day, the sun was out, with a cool wind. We got some sun and the kids had fun. (I'm a poet and I don't even know it:)
