Happy Birthday Heather!!!

When Heather was born, I made up a little song for her that goes:
Hello Heather,
How's the weather?
Let's go together
To the park!

Now she is 20 years old and I want to celebrate in this post by writing another poem to her.

Heaven sent for me to love
Everything glad in a girl
A perfect gift from above.
Time ripples fast in a swirl
Happy memories all whirl
Entwining my heart and mind
Round Heather to ever bind.

When she graduated to college, I put a slide show together of her, one picture for every year. I think one year is missed, but this is the slide show in a mini collage, plus three pictures from the last three years.
Heather, you have been a joy to raise and love. I love you!

Heather, the self portrait taker. This is a very typical, delightful picture I caught at Niagara Falls November 2006.

Heather the Beautiful! This was taken in Fort Walton Beach, Florida August 2007.

Heather and her sibs. She is sporting her stylin short haircut. Taken December 22, 2008.

It's hard to believe Heather is 20! I sent a Happy Birthday wish to Heather on Facebook -- lots of happy birthday wishes from all her friends. I was reflecting back and realized that Heather is now the age I was when she was born. I had turned 20 just 6 weeks before she was born and got to be present when she made her appearance into the world -- thanks for including me in that special time! I just can't imagine life without Heather! We love her so much!! Thanks for the beautiful post, Tiffany!

Happy Birthday Heather! Did you have an "Old Lady" party like your mom did for #20? Hee hee. I think it's awesome that you share your birthday with G.Grandma Harris and you were the first GGgrandchild for the family. It was meant to be.

Tiff, this post was really great. I liked the poem for Heather, and I totally remember the "Hello Heather" song! My boys need songs like all your kids do...

I want to add my birthday wishes to Heather. I remember coming to Provo to help after Heather was born. Whitney and James had to come with me, so I always said that I was more of a hindrence than a help to Tiffany, but I had to be there! Heather was a darling baby and she has grown into a beautiful young woman. (It was so fun to see all the lovely pictures of Heather over the years that Tiffany posted).
I always felt that it was not a coincidence that Heather was born on Grandma Harris' birthday. I was the first Harris grandchild, Tiffany was the first great-grandchild, and Heather was the first great-great-grandchild. And we were all girls!
Heather has always been full of enthusiasm for everything she does and she is talented in so many areas. She has been such a blessing to our family these past 20 years. Happy Birthday Heather!
